Photo: A wayside shrine - Średnie Wielkie

A village located on Wallachian law. For the first time mentioned in 1412. Previously there was a stone Greek Catholic Church raised in 1810. As the result of the "Wisła" action the village became completely desolated. Despite all the war damage, since 1949 the village has been populated. The only monuments that have survived till today, are a remains of previous Greek Catholic church and a wayside shrine of 19th century.
